CSK Auto, Advanced Auto Parts and sequoia Capital signed an agreement last month to form a new company, PartsAmerica.com, for selling automotive parts and accessories for both the consumer and commercial markets. CSK and Advanced will own equal stakes in the new company, and Sequoia Capital will be the lead investor with additional funding from Freeman Spogli & Co., Sears Roebuck and Co.

and Ripplewood Holdings LLC. PartsAmerica.com will leverage the existing infrastructure of more than 2,700 CSK and Advanced Auto Parts stores in 50 states as well as its 3,000 deliver vehicles and 59 distribution centers. A launch date has not been set.
