Sony's Psygnosis subsidiary, known for producing high-quality action games, is planning to release about 20 titles for the PC and 20 for the PlayStation but is concentrating its fourth quarter efforts on five potential hits, said Mark Beaumont, executive vp and general manager of Psygnosis.

Psygnosis is making a strong commitment to the PlayStation and games that take advantage of 3-D effects, Beaumont said.

Top titles from Psygnosis will include G Police, the science fiction action game Colony Wars, and updated 3-D version of the racing game Formula 1, Psybadek and Thunder Truck Rally.
