Dundee, Fisher-Price Sign Layette License Agreement

NEW YORK -- Dundee Mills has signed a contract with Fisher-Price that will grant Dundee the license to produce F-P knitted layette products.

According to Dundee senior vice president R. Wayne Boyd, items to be produced include: one-piece underwear, gowns, hooded bath towels, washcloths, knitted sheets, training pants, toddler panties and briefs, T-shirts, slip-on and side-snap shirts and long underwear. Gary Swank, formerly of Kessler, Inc., joins Dundee as national accounts sales manager to oversee distribution of the Fisher-Price line. He will report to Boyd.

Boyd also announced that Marcie C. Shealy will join Dundee as product director in the retail towel division. A veteran of Springs Industries, Shealy will be responsible for product development and design, reporting to David Taylor, vp, marketing, for the unit.
