Experimental Imageland Store Opens

CHICAGO -- A new experimental store that uses leading-edge digital color graphics technology to produce creative business and consumer products opened last month. Located in downtown Chicago, the new Imageland store is a joint venture of Canon, the Japanese maker of imaging products, and CPI Corp., a major U.S. retailer of photography services. The 2,200-square-foot store employs a dramatic store design and is targeted toward three distinct customers: graphics professionals, businesses and consumers.
