In June, members of the Ohio Aggregates & Industrial Minerals Association, Illinois Association of Aggregate Producers and Indiana Minerals Aggregates Producers participated in their annual Washington Fly-In Grass Roots Trips. Again this year, the six-year, federal highway funding bill was at the top of the agenda.

The three associations feel the annual event has gone a long way toward increasing their impact in Washington.
