J.C. Watts and Motown tunes to highlight NAPA's 50th

Former U.S. Rep. J.C. Watts Jr. will be the keynote speaker at the National Asphalt Pavement Association's (NAPA) 50th Annual Convention Feb. 13-17, 2005 at the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. NAPA committee meetings Feb. 11-13 will precede the event, dubbed "Pavement Paradise."

Much Motown music is on tap for entertainment, as the Drifters, the Platters and the Coasters will perform. Hot Mix Asphalt producers, contractors and equipment suppliers from North America and throughout the world will be on hand for sessions featuring speakers addressing current industry issues and future trends.
