Multi-axis amplifiers—L.S. Starrett Company, booth 4350
Modern Machine Shop, March, 2005 by Christy R. Bramlet
This series of multi-axis gaging amplifiers accept as many as eight probe/gaging inputs, providing numerous math calculations and readout versatility. The 776 Gage-Chek series features an intuitive visual display, audio cues and user-defined formulas. In addition, a microprocessor enables dynamic min/max measurements, SPC analysis from an integrated database and connectivity to PCs, making the amplifier suitable for a range of manufacturing applications.
Users also have the ability to view (in real-time) gage values such as pass/fail data for critical part dimensions or statistical process control (SPC) charts and histograms.
