Thermal stability and zero table overhang—Okuma America, booth 511

The Okuma MB-46VAE vertical mill features thermal stability and zero table overhang to allow for tight tolerances and accuracy. With an extended X-axis travel and maximum machining volume of 30" x 18.11" x 18.11" (X, Y and Z), the front-access design of the mill requires minimal floor space and does not uses hydraulic fluid. The construction is based on FEM analysis and a rapid spindle traverse. The mill comes standard with the company's THINC-OSP control, Windows OS, a 40-GB hard drive and API set for complete plug-and-play connectivity.
