Modern Machine Shop, August, 2002
The company wilt be introducing and demonstrating Predator MDC (Manufacturing Data Collection) Version 1.3. MDC collects and reports on a manufacturing facility's two most important resources: people and machines. Keeping in mind that a customer can only improve what they measure, the software enables the user to collect data in real-time or on a summary basis.
Once collected, the data can be used to give the user real-time status of personnel, machines, jobs and historical analysis of productivity trends. Machine status reports the current state of every machine, including if it is idle, in setup, in production or down. In addition, it displays the current job number and machine operator.
