The company's new SmartScope Quest 600 video measurement system is a multi-sensor dimensional metrology system for precision measurement of small parts up to 24" long or carriers filled with small parts. Video measurement machines magnify images of parts to verify dimensions against design drawings. Especially at high magnification when measuring curved surfaces, the quality of magnification can affect the accuracy of measurements.

The machine incorporates rigid, granite-bridge construction to provide stability over a measurement volume of 450 mm x 600 mm x 200 mm (18" x 24" x 8"). Its high speed servo-driven stages provide high throughput with accuracy, according to the company. When equipped with laser and touch probe, this 3D system is suitable for a range of measurement applications. Software options for this system are compatible with MeasureMind
