Are you a design engineer?
Modern Machine Shop, Jan, 2002 by Katherine A. Kelley
Amacoil/ Uhing has launched a new Web site that provides more than 25 CAD drawing downloads of "rolling ring" linear drives and assemblies for use in designing for linear motion applications. Also included is information on "rolling ring" engineering, a technology that converts rotary input into linear motion output.
Engineers may complete an application requirements form on the site and submit it online for needs analysis and cost quotations. The site features a new Applications Guide page that displays a color-coded chart listing a broad range of industries and applications and the type of rolling ring linear drive required to meet specific linear motion application requirements. The site is at www.amacoil.com.
