Modern Machine Shop, Feb, 2001 by Elizabeth M. Gruber
The company offers a complete filter-regulator-lubricator system for keeping air lines free of water and contaminants during air tool Operation.
General air tool maintenance begins with proper air motor lubrication. The filter-regulator-lubricator provides accurate air pressure regulation, two-stage filtration of water/contaminants and lubrication of pneumatic components. The modular design is said to allow for customization and versatility. It is available at 40 cfm at 100 psi with 3/8" NPT female ports, or up to 55 cfm at 100 psi with 1/2" NPT female ports. The two-stage air filtration system includes a 20-micron primary filter element. The regulator features a safety-lock knob for maintaining accurate air pressure regulation, and the lubricator features an adjustable oil drop to meter the amount of oil put into the air system.
Available separately in various configurations, the system also can be purchased as a filter-regulator, a regulator-lubricator, a regulator or just the lubricator.
