Solution for sheet metal stamping simulation

Modern Machine Shop, Feb, 2003 by Shauna R. Steigerwald

The company announces PAM-Stamp 2G, an integrated sheet metal stamping simulation solution from die design feasibility to process validation and optimization. The solution includes PAM-Diemaker for fast design and optimization of binder surface and die-addendum, PAM-Quick-stamp for rapid stamping evaluation and PAM-Autostamp for forming process validation and quality control. Fully integrated in one common environment, the software's modules are built upon a new robust interoperable architecture, allowing seamless CAD data information sharing without modeling discontinuity, according to the company. The intuitive graphical user interface is said to provide optimum user friendliness.
