Innovation Center showcases product development

Carol Stream, Ill. -- Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. opened its new Innovation Center at the company's facility here. The center supports the company's new product development efforts. Award-winning package designs developed by Smurfit-Stone and its Creative Resource Group are on display. Smurfit-Stone's Creative Resource Group includes structural designers, graphic designers and mechanical packaging experts based in Carol Stream; Irvine, Calif.; and Valley Forge, Pa.
Additional structural designers located throughout the country contribute to new concepts.
