Alliance Interested In ASC Assets
Paperboard Packaging, July, 2001
Spokane, Wash.-Alliance Machine Systems International LLC has signed a letter of intent with ASC Machine Tools, Inc., also of Spokane, to acquire certain ASC/Pallmac paperboard packaging assets. A formal announcement was made last month.
Alliance brings integrated manufacturing process to worldwide producers of paperboard packaging under the trade names TEI, J&L, Serco/Holland, and Quadro Engineering. ASC has served the industry for more than 20 years with its line of material handing equipment.
The agreement is subject to the satisfactory completion of due diligence and attainment of any regulatory approvals that may be acquired.
