The Collins Companies of Portland, OR, has pledged $150,000 to Penn State University's new Forest Resources Building in University Park, PA. The wood products teaching tab in the new building will be named in honor of the donor. The four-story building, scheduled for occupancy in February 2006, will house the university's forest science, wildlife and fisheries science and wood products programs.

Collins and Penn State are each celebrating their 150th anniversaries this year.
