Shaw acquires Anderson hardwood floors

DALTON, GA -- Shaw Industries Group Inc., a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Anderson family of companies, based in Clinton, SC.
In commenting on the transaction, Vance Bell, CEO of Shaw Industries, stated, "We are very excited about Anderson joining Shaw Industries. Anderson has a longstanding reputation for product innovation, styling and premier quality. We are pleased that Don Finkell and the entire management team of Anderson are joining Shaw, and we welcome all Anderson associates to the Shaw team.
