Two plant tours on tap for closets expo

WEST PALM BEACH, FL -- The 2008 CLOSETS & HOME ORGANIZATION CONFERENCE & EXPO[TM] will feature optional bus tours of two Local manufacturing operations closely allied to the closet and cabinet industries--Operation 32 and Doormark Inc., on Friday, Feb. 29.

The tours to the two Deerfield Beach plants, including a buffet dinner, are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 29, and are sponsored by Operation 32 and Roseburg, a supplier of composite panels based in Dillard, OR.

Operation 32 is a precision cut-to-size manufacturer of build-to-order closet and cabinet components. The company expanded into a 10,000-square-foot facility in June 2007 and added new Biesse panel processing equipment. Doormark manufactures thermofoil doors and components. The company's 60,000-square-foot facility employs 75 people and features 10 Heian CNC routing stations, three Wemhoner membrane presses and two fully automated trim Lines.
