Gencorp Inc. has completed the spin-off of its Decorative & Building Products and Performance Chemicals businesses into a new company called OMNOVA Solutions Inc. The Decorative & Building Products business includes vinyl and paper decorative and wood-grain laminates. OMNOVA is headquartered in Fairlawn, OH.
Kevin Byrne has been elected president of OMNOVA Solutions' Decorative Products business unit and vice president of OMNOVA Solutions. Kevin McMullen has been elected president and chief operating officer. He will lead the company's business segments, Performance Chemicals and Decorative & Building Products.
