The DX/C moisture meter with an E-12 electrode offers a wood moisture range of 5% to 65%, built in species corrections for 20 different wood group settings and an easy to read digital display, Lignomat says. The E-12 electrode offers the flexibility of reading deeper into the wood with pins that range from I in. to 2 in. By adding the E-12 to the meter, it can check if the core is as dry as the surface to prevent moisture problems.
