MultiCam introduces an all-steel plate frame base for its 3000 and 5000 Series of CNC routers. The new box frames are designed to improve rigidity and provide strength and stability for dependable performance, the company says. The main stringers are fabricated from 1-1/2-in.-thick plate. Machined mounts for optional pop-up pins to align material blanks are standard. All base frame designs have extra available stroke in the X-axis to accommodate full coverage of optional 32mm boring units. Heavy-duty forklift tubes also are standard.
