The Ligno-Scanner SD, a pinless wood moisture meter can measure 1/4 in. and 3/4 in. deep. The dual depth scanner allows testing for thinner and thicker boards and can test the same board for differences between surface and core moisture. The scanner is beneficial for scanning a Large number of boards, to detect higher moisture levels and water pockets. Also, it serves as a necessary meter when checking finished products, such as cabinet doors and tabletops where pin holes would leave visible marks.
