Simmons & Company International named company president Michael E. Frazier as CEO. He joined the firm in 1992 to assist in starting its securities business, and was named president in 2001. Prior to joining Simmons, Frazier spent six years actively involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas as an independent operator, and was associated for 14 years with a Houston-based securities firm, specializing in the marketing of energy research to institutions.
