SIDERCA S.A.I.C. SEC-ST is a premium, non-upset coupled connection designed to resist jump-outs and reduce chance of crossthreading. Full thread run-out ensures 100% tensile efficiency. Wide stop shoulder prevents over torquing and seal damage under extreme service conditions. OD is smaller than equivalent API connections. Where space is critical, special clearances are available. The seal was specially designed for repeated operations maintaining leak resistance also under extreme conditions. In addition to above SEC-ST benefits and features, SEC-FR has better performance under sour environments.
