Expro International Group PLC announced the appointment of Tim Eggar to the board as a non-executive director. Eggar is currently vice-chairman of corporate finance at ABN AMRO with responsibility for the integrated energy sector. He began his career with Hambros Bank and spent eight years with the European Banking Company.

In 1979 he was elected Member of Parliament, becoming a member of the UK government in 1985. He held several ministerial roles, including Minister for Energy in the Department of Trade & Industry. In 1994 he was given a combined role as Minister for Industry and Energy, which he held until 1996.
