Gulf Energy, a global consortium of energy investors and consultants, announced the members of the International Advisory Board to the multi-billion-dollar Energy City Qatar (ECQ) project, drawn from different geographical areas. Richard H. Matzke, retired vice chairman of ChevronTexaco Corp., is the chairman of the American-Iranian Council, and serves on the board of the National Committee on US-China Relations.

Harald Norvik served as deputy energy minister and secretary of state for the Norwegian government before becoming CFO of Aker Group, CEO of Astrup Hoyer, CEO of STATOIL and chairman of ECON Management. Bernard de Combret served 24 years at TotalFinaElf, as CEO of Marketing and Refining, CEO of Trading and Transportation, and CEO of the Gas and Power division. Henri Phillippe Reichstul is an economist and international consultant who has held various high level positions in South American business and the Brazilian government. Simon Tay is a lawyer who was recently a visiting professor at Harvard Law School and Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He has also served as a member of the Singapore parliament.
