Two Gas Technology Institute researchers received special awards from the American Gas Association at the AGA Annual Operations Conference in Chicago

Two Gas Technology Institute (GTI) researchers received special awards from the American Gas Association (AGA) at the AGA Annual Operations Conference in Chicago. Glyn Hazeiden, GTI R&D manager, and William F. Rush, institute physicist, received AGA's Operating Section's Silver Award of Merit, an honor acknowledging outstanding leadership, original authorship, and at least 10 years of continuous organizational service to the natural gas industry.

Hazelden joined GTI in 2004, where he is responsible for projects in the areas of trenchless technology, keyhole operations development, gas transmission and storage, underground locating, obstacle detection and laser leak detection. Rush joined GTI in 1978, where he has been involved in a wide variety of project areas. Among other work, he helped introduce large-diameter coiled pipe technology into the US.
