Tops Appliance City will open first fullscale Manhattan store in spring in addition to previously disclosed outlet in Brooklyn, said Senior Vp-COO Rick Jones, who declined to disclose location. Retailer has said new stores will have showrooms of 30,000-35,000 sq. ft. (TVD Nov 17 p11). In past, Tops has operated air-conditioner-only outlets In Manhattan in summer.
