Polk Audio profit fell in 3rd quarter ended Dec. 28 to $371,532 (20 [cents] per share) from year-earlier $543,692 (30 [cents]) on 16.2% sales decline to $12.9 million from $15.4 million. For 9 months, Polk reported $214,987 loss (-12 [cents]) compared with year-earlier profit of $1.03 million (56 [cents]) on 20% sales decrease to $32.9 million from $41.2 million.
