CHICAGO -- The restaurants Grapes and Mango, which partners Stephen Chiappetti and George Guggeis opened with considerable fanfare a couple of years ago, have closed.

Guggeis, who is now general manager of Ugly Duck Cruises, said he and Chiappetti shuttered Mango in anticipation of the building's sale to developers, who plan to tear it down.
