MILWAUKEE -- The Wisconsin Restaurant Association recently hosted the fourth Showcase of the Stars, a program created by the Multicultural Foodservice and Hospitality Alliance to promote the foodservice industry's career opportunities to minority high-school students.
The event was held in conjunction with the Host Midwest Expo at the Midwest Airlines Center here earlier this month.

During the program, students, teachers, counselors and administrators from high schools in the Milwaukee area listened to the success stories of minority professionals working in restaurants, hotels and hospitality schools and colleges. Yum! Brands Inc. was the title sponsor of the event.
