SFM launches Foundation

LOUISVILLE, KY. -- The Society for Foodservice Management has established the SFM Foundation to help support higher education through scholarships and college courses. Another goal of the organization is to give students the opportunity to network with leaders in the on-site foodservice industry at the SFM National Conference. Scott Siers of PepsiCo is the chairman of the SFM Foundation. The board includes William Day of Johnson & Wales University, Ruediger Flik of Flik International, Mary Hofer of Foodservice Leadership Group, Matthew Merson of Glaceau, Kevin Moore of Cuyahoga Dining Services, Ron Tremper of Compass Group and David Tucker of Widener University.
