BOSTON -- In an effort to improve the quality and value of The Bay Tower restaurant and club, Kim Lambrechts was named executive chef and Bradford Hudson was appointed chief executive of the property known for its sweeping views of Boston and Boston Harbor.
In his new position, Lambrechts will oversee all culinary operations including menu creation and planning, purchasing and supervision of the kitchen staff for the 150-seat Bay Tower restaurant, the Custom House Lounge, the private Bay Club dining facility and The Bay Tower's 11 private dining suites.

Lambrechts most recently served as executive sous chef at the Boston Harbor Hotel in Boston. Prior to that appointment, he was executive sous chef at Abu Dhabi Hilton, a five-star property in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where he helped oversee two royal weddings with more than 2,000 guests. He also worked at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts and Les Quatre Saisons in the Royal Windsor Hotel in Brussels, Belgium.
Lambrechts was classically trained in Belgium and graduated with distinction from the Institute Technique Des Metiers de L'Alimentation in Tournai He received several awards including a special award of excellence from the Master Chefs of Belgium.
As chief executive, Hudson is charged with improving the quality and performance of the entire Bay Tower organization. A former consultant specializing in strategy and turnaround management, Hudson has worked with such clients as Cunard and Nestle. He also has taught restaurant management at Boston University and worked as a restaurant manager at The Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C. In addition, he served as a Navy foodservice officer. He received his undergraduate degree in political philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania and his graduate degree from the Cornell Hotel School.
