HOUSTON -- H Texas magazine recently presented its list of this city's 22 best chefs at a cocktail reception at the Decorative Center. The chefs were selected by subscribers who received a ballot in the mail, as well as by people who voted online.
They are Mark Cox of Mark's American Cuisine, Philippe Schmit of Bistro Moderne, Marco Wiles of Da Marco, Toby Joseph of The Remington, Robert Gadsby of Noe, Charles Clark of Ibiza, Olivier Ciesielski of Tony's, John Sheely ofMockingbird Bistro, Stacy Crowe of Chez Nous, Arturo Osorio of Amerigo's Grille, Arturo Boada of Beso/Arturo's, John Marion Carrabba of Piatto Ristorante, Bryan Caswell of Bank, Randy Evans of Brennan's of Houston, Rafael Galindo of Cafe Red Onion, Lynette Hawkins of La Mora, Mark Holley of Pesce, Ciro Lampasas of Ciro's, Rai Nwosu of Ral's Fine Catering Cafe & Bistro, Randy Rucker of Laidback Manor, and Amaldo Richards of Pico's Mex-Mex.
The magazine's food editor's choice was Robert Del Grande of Cafe Annie.
