WASHINGTON -- Ming-Chu "Pearl" Lin, a continuing-education student at The Culinary Institute of America's Cucina e Cultura program, won the National Turkey Federation's "Turkey For All Seasons" recipe contest -- summer category. Lin won for her recipe for Tacchino di Perla, or Turkey by Pearl. The dish was one of almost 100 recipes submitted by professional and student chefs.

Judges chose the recipe based on taste, creative use of turkey, ease of preparation and visual appeal. Lin, who is one of four winners chosen for the NTF's Turkey for All Seasons contest, receives a cash award of $1,000.
