Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedSports Invitational nets $525K-plus for environmental group

OLYMPIC VALLEY, CALIF. -- Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc., the 100-unit casual-dining group based in Greenwood Village, Cob., was one of five sponsors at the four-day Celebrity Sports Invitational here, which raised more than $525,000 to support efforts of the Water-keeper Alliance.
The environmental group's tri-sports competition drew such celebrity participants as Buzz Aldrin, Kevin Costner, Peter Fonda and Robin Williams, who joined approximately 30 well-known outdoor competitors.
