Embarrassment of riches: Show presents candid spaghetti trick

Nation's Restaurant News, May 8, 2000

NEW YORK -- A Wall Street power couple must have thought their stars were rising fast when they visited the Supreme Macaroni Restaurant, a 9th Ave. eatery, here.

According to the New York Post, when the couple arrived they were asked to sit at a certain table, which they said was especially lit up for them. Then they received a complimentary appetizer -- spaghetti that was four feet long.

After eating more than a few feet of pasta, they learned they were to be a segment on the oft-embarrassing TV show "Candid Camera."
