Nation's Restaurant News, May 12, 2003
MADISON WIS. -- The 250-unit Country Kitchen chain rolled out a new corporate logo in a bid to increase its brand presence in the family-dining segment.
The logo has a yellow background and is oval, replacing the rectangular logo with a peak that contained the chain's name in all uppercase letters on a green background. The chain's name on the new logo is written in upper- and lowercase letters for a "more classy, contemporary look," and the color yellow makes the logo more visible, according to president and chief executive Chuck Myers.
