WASHINGTON -- The Sugar Association named Andrew C. Briscoe III president and chief executive. The board said it tapped Briscoe for those posts because of his strong background in nutrition and food policy. Briscoe joined the Sugar Association in 2002 as its director of public policy. Before that he served as vice president of the Salt Institute.
