Flat Rock Grille chain hires LeFranc as president, CEO

TAMPA, FLA. -- Flat Rock Grille, the five-unit casual-dining chain based here, named industry veteran Fred LeFranc president and chief executive.

LeFranc, who has more than 25 years of experience as a senior executive of large chains, most recently was president of Ruby's Diner, the Newport Beach, Calif.-based parent of 41 restaurants in seven states nationwide. He also previously had leadership roles at the Una Mas, Vision Restaurants and E1 Torito chains.

Flat Rock Grille, which currently operates in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Alabama, plans to open a new location this fall in Charlotte, N.C. The chain, which is owned by Lovett-Miller Inc., Jefferson Capital and SSM Ventures, plans to relocate its headquarters to Charlotte this summer.
