OVERLAND PARK, KAN. -- Pizza Hut will lay off almost 180 people when it outsources the operations of its call center here next month, published reports said. A Pizza Hut spokesman told The Kansas City Star that the center in suburban Overland Park will close June 30. The chain would give severance packages to managers and job placement help to hourly workers.
