TIANJIN, CHINA -- The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Florida International University has graduated 29 students from its satellite campus here.

The graduates are fielding job offers from such companies as Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, Mandarin Oriental Miami and Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Eight graduates plan to pursue a master's degree in hospitality management from FIU's Miami campus in the fall.

FlU manages the hospitality program at University Center here, a $50 million campus funded by the Chinese government. It sits on 80 acres in Tianjin, the third-largest city in China, 75 miles from Beijing.
