OAK BROOK, ILL. -- McDonald's Corp. as part of a deal with the Web site Sony Connect, is offering a free song download with each purchase of a Big Mac Extra Value Meal.
The Big Mac Tracks program, which is slated to run for up to 10 weeks, was scheduled to debut June 8 in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. It is to be introduced next month in the United Kingdom, France and Germany. Customers will receive a unique access code printed on a Big Mac sandwich carton, allowing them to download a song from the Web site.
