HYDE PARK, N.Y.--The Culinary Institute of America has taken its education program online with a class on healthful cooking.
"The Professional Chef's Techniques of Healthy Cooking" is divided into 14 online modules, which can be completed at the participants' own pace. Online discussions, assessments and performance feedback are part of the course, which is worth three continuing education units and five points toward the nutrition component of certification by the American Culinary Federation.
