Mrs. Fields taps Arby's vet for marketing post

SALT LAKE CITY -- Mrs. Fields Famous Brands, parent of the Mrs. Fields Cookies, TCBY and Pretzel Time chains, hired John Lauck as executive vice president of marketing, replacing Frann Wolfe, senior VP of marketing, who left the company.

Lauck was president and chief marketing officer of the Arby's Franchise Association.

In addition, Mrs. Fields promoted Dara Dejbakhsh to executive VP of operations and development, from VP of operations for TCBY.

Mrs. Fields' franchise system has more than 2,900 units, including the Great American Cookies and Pretzelmaker brands.
