MILWAUKEE -- Hospitality conglomerate Marcus Corp. said its quick-service restaurant operations achieved increases in revenues and operating profit for the fourth quarter and 12 months of fiscal 1999, which ended May 27.
Marcus operates 27 KFC and three dual-concept KFC and Taco Bell units in Wisconsin in addition to movie theater, motel and resort businesses.
The company reported total food-and-beverage revenues of $12.7 million at all its properties for the quarter, vs. $11.91 million in revenues for the comparable year-earlier quarter. Twelvemonth revenues were $51.98 million vs. $48.35 million.

Sales at the QSR units were reported as $28.47 million for fiscal 1999 vs. $27.6 million for the previous year. Revenues from all divisions for fiscal 1999 totaled $362.93 million vs. $334.84 million a year earlier. Profits fell to $23.14 million from $30.78 million.
