1-day Lone Star sales net $1.9M for hurricane relief

WICHITA, KAN. -- Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon Inc. on Tuesday said it was donating $1,853,423, or 100 percent of systemwide sales from Sept. 5, to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for 2005 Hurricanes. and joined us in saluting the American spirit. We are proud of our guests, our employees and our shareholders who combined to make this donation possible." Lone Star owns and operates 251 domestic namesake restaurants and 40 other steakhouses under the Sullivan's, Del Frisco's Double Eagle and Texas Land & Cattle brands.
