Country Kitchen celebrates harvest with apple menu

MADISON, WIS.--Country Kitchen International launched "Apple Harvest Days," a fall promotion featuring special dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The centerpiece of the promotion is the family-dining chain's signature breakfast item, The Best Pancakes in Town, which now features Taffy. Apple Pancakes. The pancakes are topped with plump, juicy apples and drizzled with a caramel topping.

The lunch offering is Apple Cinnamon Pork Loin Melt, a sandwich containing grilled pork loin, sliced apples, four melted cheeses and thick-cut bacon on Parmesan-garlic bread. The dinner item Apple Cinnamon Pork Loin, features four slices of grilled pork topped with warm apples and served with baby red potatoes and vegetables.

Fifteen- and 30-second TV spots created by Ovation Advertising and Marketing of LaCrosse, Wis., are supporting the promotion.
