Burger King partners with Nintendo for Kids Meal promotion

MIAMI -- Willy Wonka distributed golden tickets with chocolate bars, and now Burger King Corp. has placed special golden toys in Kids Meals that allow the recipient to win a Nintendo Game Boy Advance title.

The special toys are part of a five-week promotion in which toys based on Nintendo videogame characters are being distributed in Kids Meals. Each toy is an interactive game that imitates scenes from such popular Nintendo games as Donkey Kong Time Racer, Coin' Collector Mario Sunshine, Race Around Bowser & Peach and seven others. Two different toys will be distributed each week during the promotion.'

More than 10,000 gold-colored toys have been placed in the meals After mailing in a winner-confirmation card, winners will receive a Nintendo game, which sells at retail between $45 and $55."
