BOSTON -- Chefs and culinary students from throughout New England are invited to compete in the 13th annual gingerbread house competition, to be held during the 20th annual Christmas Festival, which celebrates crafts and specialty foods, at the World Trade Center here Nov. 3-5.
The houses will be judged on creativity, decoration and taste and will be displayed during the festival. The houses will be sold, and proceeds will go to Rosie's Place, an organization aimed at providing safe environments for poor and homeless women.
